Indian e-commerce firm Meesho has agreed to buy Kirana Membership, a community-focused B2B commerce platform, in a transaction valued at Rs2.02bn ($21.34m).
Established in 2020 by Anshul Gupta and Aishwarya Jain, Kirana Membership runs a mobile-led platform by way of which small shopkeepers, primarily in Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4 cities, in addition to rural markets, can discover, evaluate and buy fast-moving client items straight from manufacturers.
