Adele Haenel was between 12 and 14 years previous. The Paris Court of Appeal makes this Friday his judgment within the case focusing on Christophe Ruggia, tried for sexual assault on the actress when she was a minor. Revealed in 2019 by Mediapartthe case led to the filmmaker’s conviction in February 2025 to 4 years in jail, including two farms under electronic bracelet.
He disputes the information and appealed. Three years in prison were requested against him. Christophe Ruggia is being prosecuted for acts which allegedly befell between 2001 and 2004, throughout common conferences at his residence, after the filming of the movie The Devilsduring which he provided {the teenager} her first position.
A face-to-face between denial and accusations
On the stand, the director repeated that he was “neither a sexual assaulter, nor a rapist, nor a pedophile”. “If I had accomplished what she accuses me of getting accomplished, put my hand down her pants even as soon as, I’d by no means have been in a position to look within the mirror and I’d have stopped seeing her instantly.
